How to maintain the Vacuum sintering furnace

New Vacuum Sintering Furnace or after the replacement Vacuum Sintering Furnace refractories should be dried. The oven will heat up in stages. In the early stage of drying, the heating rate is low and the time is long. As the temperature rises, the furnace is cold and the moisture in the furnace material is high. When the temperature is lower than 400°C, open the door to discharge water vapor. Heat up to 700°C for a while to keep the temperature of the furnace uniform.

Vacuum Sintering Furnace

In the case of a mesh belt furnace, it should be operated for a period of time when the temperature of the furnace rises to 400°C to perform pre-oxidation treatment to increase the life of the mesh belt.

(1) Low-melting point impurities (sulfur, lead, zinc, etc.) in compacts will have an effect on the furnace material and heating elements. In order to increase the service life of the furnace, furnaces should be regularly cleaned, especially in the pre-burning zone. In powder metallurgy ingredients, avoid the addition of sulfur and other elements to avoid contaminating the furnace and heating elements.
(2) The stove should be cleaned regularly. When carbon monoxide or other carbon-containing gases are used, it is possible to decompose carbon from hydrocarbons, which deposit on the furnace walls and heating elements, which can contaminate the furnace, erode the refractories and damage the heating elements.
(3) Keep the furnace body clean, regularly clean the furnace of iron oxide skin, broken graphite, zinc oxide and other impurities.
(4) Check the connection of heating elements and wires to prevent poor arcing.
(5) Because the furnace needs to be operated at a low dew point, regular leak detection is performed on flanged areas that are closed with bolts.
(6) Do not send the oil boat with the oil into the furnace. The presence of oil into the furnace will drastically increase the dew point and affect normal operation.
(7) No over-temperature operation.
